Teddy’s day off
A Christmas picture book exploring what Christmas means, promoting a secular perspective with a focus on spending time with family and friends, as well as meaningful gift giving.
This is my first time writing and illustrating a picture book, and it’s been a challenge for sure!
I started this project in early 2022 with a view to get it finished by the end of the year. By the start of 2023 the story was pretty much complete, but the illustrations were only about 60% there!
After the birth of my daughter (Freya!) I decided to pick the project back up and go full steam ahead. We’re now almost there and I’m tentatively hoping I can get it in front of some literary agents with a view to publish.
